Halloween
Just what is Halloween exactly? For me, it is a fancy dress night that my daughter looks forward to attend every year, just like any other party night organized by her school. I have been listening to argument amongst us on the “appropriateness” of us attending it. Well, what can I say, if you take Halloween from a different perspective altogether (if you know what I mean), then you are just going to dig in unnecessary spiritual complexities to life. What difference does this have with the concept of celebrating kongsi raya or taking Sunday as the “holy” day, and some other customary Hinduism influence that we adopt in life, etc etc? . Few example but think about it.
