Sabeer Bhatia to wed in Langkawi Island
Sabeer Bhatia, the lucky bastard dude who sold his invention, HoTMaiL for a whopping USD400 million in 1997 is planning to get married in Langkawi Island tomorrow, as reported here.
Sabeer, 40, chose Langkawi as his preferred venue to wed Tania Sharma, a Mumbai-based businesswoman and the heiress of the Baidyanath Group, on March 9.
According to the report, Hawaii, Phuket and Koh Samui were among places considered but he picked Langkawi as it was closer for relatives and guests to attend (cheaper booze too!). The entire hotel was booked for two days and the cable car was booked for two hours on the wedding day.

He should have thought about coming over to Koh Samui, lovely island that it is.
