Don’t mess with them..

Mmm…kept missing my postings for the past two days, don’t really know why…(something to do with Gonu, may be???)

Anyway, I read this morning, in Jerusalem, the US and Israeli air forces were due on Sunday to begin a week-long joint US-Israeli air military exercises. We all know damn well why they are there but the Israel claimed that this sort of exercise had been planned two years ago and is not linked to the current situation in any country. (duh….)

To this recent development, Iran has responded by warning that it would hit back hard against any attack on its territory and said its armed forces are prepared for anything (in short, Iran was telling-off US not to fuck with them!)

Excerpt from Iran deputy Interior Minister for security affairs:-

“In case of an American attack against Iran, the interests of this country around the world and in the region will be endangered,…today, all American bases in the region are within the reach of our medium-range weapons,….if the slightest disorder in the region’s security and in the security of the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf is created, oil prices will reach $250 a barrel and this will lead to the death of European countries and America in terms of economy and security”

Iran has an array of medium range missiles and claims that its longer-range Shahab-3 missile has a reach of 2,000 kilometres (1,200 miles), which would put US bases on the Arabian Peninsula within reach. I do hope the US read the minister very well and try to resort to a more diplomatic approach.
