Bush in Tel Aviv – so?
As we’d have expected, Geogie received a heck of a reception at Tel Aviv airport. He reassured the people there that the alliance between the two nations helps guarantee Israel’s security as a Jewish state.
“Each of our nations must guard against terror. We must firmly resist those who murder the innocent to achieve their political objectives,” he said.
Olmert thanked Bush for his unwavering commitment to Israel, calling the bond between the two countries “unshakable”, and gave his super-ass-kissing statement “”You’re our strongest and most trusted ally…your solidarity with the people of Israel has won you the love and admiration of all the citizens of Israel, and we all feel privileged to have you here with us.”
I’d think the Arabs in general do not even care what the two were trying to hint here, for all they fucking care, the visit will not bring much of a substance to anything around here. The Arabs are determined to support the Palestine and to maintain good relations amongst them especially with Iran.
