Two moons on 27 August – a hoax!
Unless you are a complete antisocial freak, I am sure you must have received this hoax email. It has been circulating….again.
27th Aug the Whole World is waiting for………….* Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting August. It will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. This will cultivate on Aug. 27 when Mars comes within 34.65M miles of earth. Be sure to watch the sky on Aug. 27 12:30 am. It will look like the earth has 2 moons. The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287. Share this with your friends as NO ONE ALIVE TODAY will ever see it again.

What bothers me about this whole thing is that it was so obviously false from the start. For mars (which is not a great deal larger than the moon) to appear to be about the same size as the moon, it would have to be in orbit around the Earth (well that close anyhow), and I think we’d all know if that was the case. That so many people fall for the hoax (my mum included)just goes to show how uncommon commonsense actually is.

Kesimpulannya, kejadian Marikh menjadi sebesar Bulan pada tarikh 27 Ogos nanti adalah palsu dan tidak boleh dipercayai.
